MCP Server Development
An MCP server lets an AI assistant use your systems, not just talk about them. HEU.AI builds MCP servers that expose your CRM, document storage, search, messaging, scheduling and billing to AI as controlled tools, with permissions set tool by tool.
What is an MCP server?
MCP stands for Model Context Protocol, an open standard for connecting AI assistants to tools and data. An MCP server sits in front of one of your systems and tells the assistant what it can do there: which tools it can call, which data it can read and which prompts are ready to use. The assistant calls those tools instead of guessing.
What do our MCP servers do?
Our MCP services cover the systems where your work lives. Off-the-shelf connectors rarely cover the ones that matter, so we build purpose-built servers that expose your own systems, and your own product, as tools an assistant can call. New capability arrives by registering a tool, not by rebuilding the assistant.

How do you control what the AI can do?
Each tool has its own permission boundary, set through permissioned service accounts. An agent reads what it should and writes only where it is allowed. Any action with legal, financial, safety or reputational consequence waits for approval from a named person on your side.

Where does an MCP server run?
On AWS, Azure or your own infrastructure. Where data cannot leave your environment, we run self-hosted models inside it.
Where have you built this?
How does an MCP project run?
MCP development here follows five stages: discovery and process mapping, proof on one real workflow, build and integration, handover and training, then operation and improvement. The first stage ends with a written assessment, whether or not you go ahead.

FAQ
What is the difference between an MCP server and an API?
An API is how a system talks to other software. An MCP server wraps that access in a standard form, so any MCP-compatible assistant can find and call the tools without custom code for each one.
Which AI models can use an MCP server?
Any assistant or application that supports MCP can use the same server. We are model-agnostic, and have built on OpenAI GPT and Anthropic Claude.
Do we need agents to use an MCP server?
No. An assistant can call the tools directly. Agents use them to complete multi-step work.
Can you build an MCP server for our product?
Yes. We expose your product as tools an assistant can call.
What happens after the server is built?
You get technical documentation, runbooks and training, so you can run it yourself. Monitoring, quality checks, incident response and an agreed cycle for extending it are available as you find the next process worth automating.
